We've made it to a JTA story today.

We've also been in touch with Daniel Power, owner of Powerhouse Publishing, and per his request, provided him with a list of recommended books for the store. His efforts seem genuine. Here's the message he wishes to relay: 

"We are redoubling efforts to make sure we are respectful of all who come into our stores, make them feel welcome, and stand ready to offer any suggestions for reading ideas. Hopefully our customers will teach us about new and exciting titles and authors, or old favorites to revisit from time to time. It's a long steep hill to climb, but are all the wiser and humbled to be on it and going forward."
