Tilehurst Station: Access for All!
Currently wheelchair users need to use Reading Station which is 4 miles away. Local Labour Councillor Daya Pal is calling on Network Rail to install a lift for wheelchair users and has raised a petition which is gaining local support. Councillor Daya Pal has been backed by Rachel Eden, Labour’s Parliamentary Candidate for Reading West.
