Lori Turner of Eula Court, Glendale Wi was brutally attacked by her neighbors Presa Canario on Sunday, March 5, 2017.   The dog was running free in the neighborhood, and upon the owner yelling out at the dog, Lori was attacked. Lori's injuries include multiple staples to her head, severe bite marks, a sprained wrist, and bruised ribs.  This dog has been seen unleashed and on the loose multiple times prior to this incident.  The animal is scheduled to be released back to its owner 10 days from the date of the incident.

It is very clear that this animals owner is extremely irresponsible in managing this dog. According to vetstreet.com, "The Presa Canario breed is not an appropriate choice for an inexperienced dog owner. First-time dog owners and people who have had only “soft” breeds such as retrievers, spaniels, or toy breeds need not apply. In the wrong hands, the Presa (like any dog) is dangerous. Two Presas killed a woman in San Francisco in 2006 because their owner hadn’t trained them and was unable to control them. If you don’t want that kind of responsibility at your end of the leash, don’t get a Presa." 

Please sign this petition to be presented to Glendale City Hall.  The petition is urging The City of Glendale to prohibit this animal being returned to its owner.  

Swift action is needed to prevent another incident, and possible graver consequences.
