Two fires were reported at Govan Graving Docks yesterday evening. The earlier fire reported by STV News was a pile of tyres set alight next to the pump house. https://stv.tv/news/west-central/1385620-fire-crews-battle-tire-blaze-at-clyde-docks-in-glasgow/ The later fire reported to CDPI by an eye witness shortly after 9pm was a pile of wood at the end of one of the quays opposite the Science Centre. http://www.glasgowlive.co.uk/news/glasgow-news/firefighters-tackle-blaze-govan-graving-12882165 Clearly adequate security measures (such as CCTV) have not been taken to protect the site and the pump house from vandalism (as required by the Listed Buildings regulations) and we have photographic evidence showing a section the fence around the pump house has been pulled down on the river side. If you haven't already done so please sign the petition calling for compulsory purchase of Govan Graving Docks. https://www.change.org/p/glasgow-city-council-serve-a-repairs-notice-for-govan-graving-docks
