As previously announced Crowdfunder UK extended the deadline for our campaign to raise funds to commission a documentary about Govan Graving Docks until 26th January. It's Friday 13th and that gives us 13 days left to reach the target. Unlucky number for some perhaps but we can make it lucky for Govan if just over half of the petition supporters pledge £1 or more! http://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/govan-graving-docks-documentary Can we do it this weekend? With plans announced for 750 flats on the docks now is the time to begin stepping up the counter campaign. Our second challenge to you is to get 2 local friends who haven't already signed the petition to do so. Ask your friends, family, work colleagues, uni/college classmates, anyone you know who might be concerned about the future of this unique historic site. The more people we can get in Govan and neighbouring postcode areas to sign - the louder the message we will send to Glasgow City Council when they come to decide on a planning application - expected to be submitted by the owners in April.
