The Clyde Docks Preservation Initiative have been in talks with the Cutty Sark 2Sail project - which could potentially see the first launch of a non-military ship in Glasgow since the 1990s. We are addressing the possibility of a temporary repair to seal and drain one of the dry docks for the Cutty Sark 2 project. This would enable it to feed into wider consultation and help establish the case for full restoration to use for other build and repair projects. We are confident we can galvanise the maritime/marine sector on the Clyde Corridor, local volunteer groups, as well as corporate backers and key public sector and third sector partners, behind the project. http://cutty-sark.org/
