The Clyde Docks Preservation Initiative is seeking to recruit a civil/marine engineer to work with the team as an advisor on projects we are undertaking such as our proposals for Govan Graving Docks. This would suit an individual based in Glasgow who is recently retired / semi-retired with expertise in marine, harbour or dock civil engineering. Alternatively a civil engineering lecturer who would be able to commit a few hours per week would be appropriate as we also hope to be able to provide work experience opportunities for students. Initially the role will be voluntary but we would be able to discuss a reasonable fee for time once major fundraising activities are underway.
