I have updated the photo to show an external shot of the Class 144e Pacer Train, which is used on smaller branch lines in the UK. They are petrol driven and use solar panels to power lighting, etc. They are very economical to run and are ideal for use of NSW branch lines. I have also added a brief mention about 'decentralisation' as it seems to be the topic of discussion at the moment. If we were to get pacer train services up and running across the state, people would be more inclined to move to the country to raise their families and to work.
