Greetings, all. I wish I had better news, if any, to share with you all. Unfortunately, I don't. We've somewhat hit a plateau with our petition, but I'm happy to say that we're still climbing. Every day that I check, we get closer to 200,000 signatures, slowly but surely. We may not have reached our final victory yet, but I like to take pride in the little things. I hope you do, too. I'm still waiting to hear back from Senator Coons' office on how we can get some inside scoops on what's really unfolding at the CEC (Center for Elephant Conservation). I sent a follow up email just now and am hoping to hear back early next week, at the latest. In the interim, please keep sharing this petition and bringing in signatures. I have been somewhat stalking the various pages on my social news feeds to get people talking about the true nature of the CEC. If you're on Facebook or Twitter, look up The Elephant Sanctuary of Tennessee or the PAWS Sanctuary in California. I haven't gotten a direct response from them, but quite a lot of people have been commenting on their hesitation to believe that the CEC is a good thing. That's excellent news -- means more people are aware! I'm asking for your help in spreading the word and launching us into the next phase of this cause. Share, sign, talk about it, ask your Senators and Congressmen about it, etc. If you have any suggestions on how we can get Ringling Bros. to speak up or acknowledge that there are countless petitions being filed against them, please step forward and share your ideas.
