Folks -- thank you! Getting very close to 5,00 signatures. I don't even know what 5,000 people would look like, but I imagine you all are wonderful souls for speaking for the animals!! Kudos!! :) I have been researching our petition and have found that there aren't too many articles out there that speak about where the elephants are going after they "retire." This means that we have the chance to really set the pace and the direction in making a difference! PETA has a similar petition going on that highlights the main points we're undertaking: that the animals are being kept at the CEC, will be used for breeding, and cancer research, etc. Go check them out and sign their petition, as well: http://www.peta.org/action/action-alerts/urge-ringling-bros-stop-cruel-elephant-acts-now/. THE MORE VOICES, THE BETTER! I invite you to educate people on what happens in circuses, not just with Ringling Bros., but worldwide. Let your friends, family, co-workers, or even perfect strangers know that these animals are not being retired to a sanctuary. They still need our help!
