Secondly, a few people have said that they didn't realise they could join the legal claims multiple times. Any compensation that is awarded will be divied out PER CAR, not per person.

If you have owned more than one diesel car since 2008 then you need to join the legal claims multiple times. The first link above allows you to enter your car's license plate, all you have to do is enter one of your license plate numbers, go through the process to sign up for that car then click the link again and start with the next license plate number. 

You should be doing this for every diesel car you've owned that was manufactured between 2008 and 2020 or your risk missing out on £000's in compensation. 

I'm following the trial and providing updates, the latest is that it has come out that around 6.9 million cars in the UK may have been fitted with these illegal devices!
