Evening everyone

FOI Request: Almost three years investigating British Gas and Ofgem still have nothing

Uswitch: Save over £150 on your energy bills with EDF this Winter

Join a Claim: Check if your old diesel cars are eligible for £000's in compensation each from the ongoing High Court Diesel-gate trials

I sent Ofgem a Freedom of Information request, hoping to get some details on when the investigation will finally conclude and how much it's costing us all to run this investigation. Unfortunately, we basically got nothing new from them.

You can read the full FOI and their response in the article at the top, but there appears to be no end in sight to their investigation into British Gas, which means no recompense for those affected and no end to the cost of the investigation, which goes onto your energy bills!

If you want to save some money and haven't moved to a fixed rate tariff yet, there's a Uswitch link above to run a price comparison. EDF are the cheapest at the moment, but there are plenty of optinos available.

I'm doing a lot this month, so expect quite a bit of content from me. There will be a price cap announcement later this month, Ofgem have made some decisions on the debt relief scheme, Rachel Reeves will be releasing her budget this month and we're hoping to hear that she'll remove VAT from energy bills, and there are plenty of other announcements coming, so keep your eyes open, lots of changes coming!

Thanks all, have a great week.
