Hi everyone,
ACTION: Ofgem Consult on Changing How Energy Bills Are Charged
Uswitch EXCLUSIVE: Save over £215 with the latest Uswitch Exclusive Energy Tariff
Join a Claim: Check if you're eligible for up to £10,000 compensation from the High Court Diesel-gate claims happening this October
Usually I give you the response I've sent to Ofgem and ask you to copy-and-paste it to Ofgem, but this one is a little different. Ofgem haven't stated what they're doing this time, instead they are asking for ideas.
I've included my own response as well at the end, but I'd like for you to send your own thoughts on how you think the energy costs in the market should be paid for. Read the top link above, it explains in clear language what Ofgem are asking, and tells you how to get involved.
I've included a link to Uswitch, they have an exclusive tariff available at the moment, coming in significantly cheaper than the rest of the market, and around £215 cheaper than the October Price Cap! I highly recommend switching to a fixed rate tariff if you haven't done so yet, it is that time of year again!
Finally, as always, I've included the Diesel-gate claim link. You can join one of the legal claims (over 1.8 million people in the UK already have!) using that last link if any of your previous diesel cars were impacted by the cheat-devices. The compensation could be as high as £10,000 per car and the first of the court cases starts in under four weeks (6 October), so it's worth having a look.
Thanks everyone, have a good evening.
