Sorry I know there is a lot there, so here is a short summary so you know whats happening:

• First link is to an article I wrote yesterday. Ofgem have released 7 new consultations last week, each one is likely to impact your energy bills negatively, please read it to get an idea of how much work we'll be doing this month, I plan to respond to all 7!
• I'm trying other things to help our finances, and that led me to starting a petition calling for the government to unfreeze PAYE tax bands in 2026 rather than 2028. Please, if you agree, sign it and share it around. I'd love to get this big in the first month and start talking to our MPs about it. It's the second link above btw.
• The third and fourth links are to price comparison sites, there are decent savings at the moment. The E.ON one allows you to spread your cost across the year (i.e. a normal direct debit that is the same amount every month), the Fuse Energy deal is cheaper overall but you can't pay the same amount every month, instead you pay for what you use each month (they call it a 'variable direct debit'), so whilst they will be about £70 cheaper across the year, you'll have to pay huge bills in the winter and tiny ones in the summer. If that doesn't appeal to you then maybe check out the E.ON one instead?
• Finally, the court cases for Diesel-gate start in 5 weeks, it's not too late to join a legal claim for compensation, almost 2 million people already have. The final link above will take you to a site where you can enter your diesel car's registration and see if you're eligible to join.
