Cornwall Insights, widely believed to be the most accurate predictor of price cap fluctuations, have released their latest prediction for next week's price cap. They previously believed it would go down by around £20, but they are now expecting a small increase to £1,737. Whilst this is just a 1% increase on today's cap, there are expectations of a much larger increase due to come in April 2026, on top of a similar small increase expected in January 2026.
Yesterday, Uswitch was exclusively offering a tariff from Fuse energy that was almost £300 cheaper than today's price cap. Whilst this tariff expired at midnight, there is a new exclusive Fuse Energy tariff available on Uswitch that is still over £250 cheaper than the price cap! This tariff will save you significantly more than that if you're a high energy user, and will last 12 months so will protect you from the predicted increases over the next 9 months.
Also, don't forget to sign up for the court cases against Diesel car manufacturers, these are due to start in October so there may be limited time to register for them.
Thanks all,
