Petition updateGive us back our £4bn Ofgem! Why Net-zero does not mean cheaper bills & Cheapest Tariff in the market

Hi all,

A few updates, firstly, the price cap is predicted to drop by around £100 from 1 July, the actual announcement is at the end of this week. But there are tariffs available that save over £250 on your energy bill, so don't wait! E.ON Next is currently the cheapest available on price comparison sites, coming in at £265 below the price cap, so give the top link above a click and switch and save today!

I've also written an article explaining why Net Zero isn't the way to reduce our bills. In fact, nothing about reaching the net-zero target is actually about reducing our energy bills, we need an overhaul of the UK's single price electricity market if we want to see cheaper energy bills. Give the article a read, I think you'll find it interesting.

I've also received a lot of questions about how switching tariff works and how much time it takes, any extra work you have to do etc. It literally takes 3 minutes to switch tariff, with no extra work, so the first link above is a video of me completing a switch and talking you through it, just to show the process and answer any questions you have.

I'm working on an Ofgem consultation on Energy Code Reform, due my 29 May, I'll send out a link to my explanation and response to this in the next week or so, keep an eye out for my emails.

That's all for today, have a great day everyone!

Thanks
