Good evening all,
SEND: Open Letter to Ofgem
SAVE: Up To £280 Saving with E.ON Next's Cheap Fixed Rate Tariff
First of all, thank you to the hundreds of you that have already contacted Ofgem following my post last week. I haven't heard back from them yet and we need to keep up the pressure, so I'm calling on all of you that haven't emailed Ofgem asking for the consultation to be opened yet, to do so tonight please.
The top link above will take you to where you can download the open letter we need to send to Ofgem, and it'll show you which email addresses to send this letter to. You can populate the email with anything you like, tell them of how these extreme energy prices have impacted your family, what you think is unfair in the energy industry at the moment or simply just say you agree with the content of the letter. The more of us that do it, the more likely we are to get the outcome we're looking for. Please do also CC me, it just helps me keep track of how many people have sent the request to Ofgem.
Finally, if you're on a default or standard variable tariff then you are paying too much for your energy bills BY CHOICE. There are fixed rate deals available that can easily save you well over £200 a year on your energy bill. Click the second link above and run a price comparison, it'll show you exactly how much you can save and it'll help you switch to the cheaper supplier. It takes literally 5 minutes to do and the new supplier deals with telling your old supplier and completing the switch, there's nothing more you need to do (apart from give meter readings if you're not on a smart meter). So take control of your enegry bills and get switching today.
Thanks everyone,
Richard Winstone
