Good Evening all, 

Save £222 compared to April's Price Cap with E.ON - This is being withdrawn from the market at midnight tonight!

Firstly, thank you all for the huge support on this petition. I'm handing it in to Ofgem tomorrow. Also, there is a consultation update that will close tonight, I'm going to respond, if you want to see the response please subscribe to my blog (theregulatorguy.co.uk). I'll do a video explanation tomorrow, post it on Youtube and send an update to you guys after the petition has been handed in. 

Secondly, and the main purpose of this update, we're all trying to reduce our energy bills, so if you're on a Standard Variable or Default tariff still (which about 80% of the country is) then you should run a price comparison today. E.ON Next are removing their fixed rate tariff from the market at midnight tonight, it is price at £222 below the April Price Cap for a medium usage household. On top of that, So Energy has a tariff that's actually £240 cheaper, so definitely worth a look. To make it clear, the price cap is going up by 6%, this E.ON tariff is a 6% reduction on today's cap, so it's kind of your choice, have your energy bill increase by 6% or decrease by 6%...
