My dearest friends, I am so very sorry that I didn't write to you sooner, because of three key factors that have been going on, first off, my desktop computer has been acting up, i believe that it is old and ready to go, second, I have been going through a transitioning phase of my life, and third, the most recent, was the disastrous mid-term elections which were very painful to watch. But I believe now is NOT the time to retreat from the battle we still are waging and NOW MORE THAN EVER BEFORE, I APPEAL TO YOU FOR YOUR HELP! Never before in my life, I have ever written a letter of the most supreme importance. I always have written to express my appreciation and still do for your undeniable support for this campaign. But now, I never before have written to you on such a situation that calls for ALL OF US to come together and rally to the aid of all who are the silent survivors of this nightmare. And this letter, with my feelings, will explain why I need your Ultimate supreme support now more than I have ever asked for in history. I have never been so upset in regards to such a horrendous matter, but now is the time we need to stand up for all who have suffered in silence because of such a horrible situation like this. I am a person with autism and I have been subjected to name calling and more, but never ever in my life, as a 33 yr old person, who is fighting for change and protection for all those who have physical or mental challenges, have never seen such atrocity like this and this is why I am trying to make bullying/bullycide a criminal offense. I ask you read this letter sincerely and that you take the time to think about why I am doing this. As some of you already know or some of you do not know, this summer, a good cause was done in the name of helping to find a cure for ALS, commonly known as Lou Gerhig's Disease, and many have done positive videos to make this call for a cure needed, I did the challenge with my friends and family with me. It was the ‪#‎Icebucketchallenge‬. But...on September 3rd, the most appalling and heartless usage of this challenge was done to someone and in the words of one citizen in a town called Bay Village, Ohio called it "Horrifying" and "Disturbing". A young autistic teen thought he was taking the ice bucket challenge and was really looking forward to it. However, what he wasn't aware of, was that older teens were preparing to dump a bucket, filled with disgusting items that would do harm to a person. The mother said in the interview which got to me this quote: "He was embarrassed because he did not know what the contents were until afterwards and then he didn’t want anybody to know,” “They used his phone to tape it and they put it up on Instagram.” (Source: Fox8.com) This is the most reprehensible crime I have ever seen as a advocate for the physically and mentally challenge, and I never would imagine something that low being done to a fellow human being, and this makes me angry beyond words. That is another reason why I am trying to make bullying and bully-cide a criminal offense, so something like this can never ever happen again to someone else regardless of gender preference, religion, challenge, etc. I cannot help by cry sincerely and cry out to all of you for your ABSOLUTE and SUPREME help to make this mission a historic success so we can get the message to the congress, senate, etc. and say: "Bullying isn't just a phase anymore, bullying not only hurts, but can take a life!" As of today, over 1,314 signed my petition, a total of 106 people in the last 3 months but my goal is to get 1 BILLION Signatures to give the most precious treasure of our earth, our youth, a voice in school so they can stand up against bullies who taunt, tease, and worse, due to preference of gender, etc. these youth need us now more than ever, I plead with all, whoever reads this, from the depths of their life, to come to my petition and SINCERELY take a stand with me NOW MORE THAN I HAVE ever before ask of you. So on behalf of not only me, and all those who you have already helped , and to all those who you will help even more now than ever, I cannot thank you enough from the bottom of my heart for your unyielding support now more than ever before.
