Dearest Friends I want to talk to you about a friend of mine, her name was Marilyn. Marilyn was the kind of person who would you want to hang out with and have fun. Whenever she was in a room, she could light up a crowd with her humor and her beautiful soul. She was one of the earliest advocates in my petition to end bullying and bullycide. My mom and I were suppose to have Christmas with our friend and celebrate what life had in store. But unfortunately, fate had other plans... On 11/24/2015 my mom's and my friend in our faith perished in a fire in Fair Lawn, NJ which claimed the life of this precious hero. By now, many of you have read about it in the papers. I still am grief stricken, but I am vowing to keep on going. I believe that my friend is now a star among the universe, and more importantly, a new bright star shining in some part of the universe among the cosmos. I want to thank you all so much for your kind messages of condolences and thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time, and I also want you to know something else about my friend. My friend was one of my earliest supports to the fight against bullying and bullycide by signing THE PETITION that she was one of my most earliest allies on. So far to date, more than 1,407 have joined in raising their voices for our youth across America and around the world. I ask today, in her memory, will you stand with me and give our youth a judicial voice against bullying and the families of those who's lives were lost to bullycide a voice of justice by signing my petition and telling our leaders: "BULLYING IS A VIOLATION OF HUMAN AND CIVIL RIGHTS EVERYWHERE, our youth deserve a safe and noble future to be leaders of change, not to live in fear, but live in hope and dignity!"
