This article omitted the gross injustice perpetrated by the VA against the Vietnam Blue Water Navy. Secretary McDonald was either misinformed or chose to ignore this issue. In my opinion it was both. Staff like Thomas Murphy of the VA Benefits Administration continue the old line that these Sailors were not exposed to Dioxin, that Agent Orange is not lethal (they don't say that the Dioxin in is). But look to the illnesses these Sailors have. Some, like myself have four or five of the illnesses on the VA presumption list. I call 2017 the "year of the rat" at the VA. We need to ferret these conspirators out and get people to serve these Veterans. I call for the immediate resignation of all Undersecretaries of each component. The king is dead, long live the VA.
