Ministry of Defence officials are blocking a government minister's attempts to review the nuked blood files we have uncovered.
The Mirror has reported that junior minister Andrew Murrison, who had promised to personally read 150 records about nuclear veteran blood tests that have been hidden at the Atomic Weapons Establishment for 70 years, has been unable to get access to them.
This shocking failure of the civil service to obey their political masters is blatant, but sadly not unusual in the case of nuclear veterans. This is why we need a legal case to force the information out of the MoD; thanks to your support we have a medal, but now we need answers.
While we prepare that case, we're asking our supporters to raise funds and have some fun by taking part in the #JaffaCakeChallenge, which seeks to help awareness of veterans' mental health issues while trying to break a world record.
