Thanks to everyone who has signed this petition over the last few days. This petition was delivered yesterday by myself to Nationwide HQ in Swindon. It is now massively important that anyone who has not done so, sends a letter by email as outlined further below.

Despite going to the HQ in person and waiting over an hour to see the most senior member of the management team present, Nationwide could ultimately not locate any senior manager available. The petition will now be passed on by the building manager! This is yet another example of the contempt management now appear to have for their members.

The good news is that we received lots of media coverage and this morning we have now reached over 1000 signatories, over double the initial target! However the more we get the better, so keep passing on the word.

It is now also hugely important that anyone who has not already sent a letter to Nationwide, now sends one by email to the Society Secretary using the template below:

Please also send me an email to my address mikael@lexgreen.com to let me know that you have sent an email as described below to the Society Secretary, so I can log how many people have sent an email. Depending on what Nationwide insist upon, we may need to send paper letters too. I shall let you know if this becomes a requirement via email.
