It would help Kuranda locals who run businesses and have little to no trade at present.

It would help Kuranda locals who do not have vehicles and wish to access services outside of Kuranda.

It would help Kuranda locals who simply want a service back that was removed because tourism replaced local needs.

It would help Kuranda locals to reduce traffic on the Kuranda range and the Barron Bridge.

It would help Kuranda locals to simply enjoy and have access to their surroundings without having to pay an arm and a leg.

It would help Kuranda locals be mindful of the environmental impact of running an empty train and having to drive.

APT Kuranda believe the use of empty carriages currently not affordable by locals, and 2 or 3 carriage services morning noon and night from Mareeba to Gordonvale with stops in between, would be beneficial to reduce traffic on our roads and provide access to essential services.

It would also benefit both Cairns and Kuranda locals to support each other whilst offering a leisurely experience for local families to truly appreciate the region we live in…
