Hey there, It’s been awhile!

There is some good news, and it feels like our voice has been heard.  An announcement by MP Craig Crawford that locals could have a 50% discount on the Kuranda Scenic Rail from 15 May - 25 June is great start to acknowledging local needs.

However most of us who want affordable transport and access to basic services believe that it is time for QLD TMR to create a benchmark for private enterprise using the public rail for private gain, and offer realistic local prices as a long term solution. 

We need two prices, one for tourists, one for locals.  APT ask that when you use this service, please continue to question the motives of government on this issue.
