As she said, most American families with children are going to start seeing monthly checks of $250-$300 per child this month. For a family of five, this could mean $900 a month in support!

But, two things are important to note.
1.) If you don’t already file a tax return, you can still get this money but you need to click here to sign up.

2.) This is not a permanent benefit -- yet. 

We need to get the word out about the Child Tax Credit so that every eligible family gets it. We also need to make it permanent.
