You and I are clear. The pandemic is not behind us, we are living in the height of it. I am also clear that you all are making a difference. Late last week, hundreds of you posted comments on specific Senator’s Facebook pages and they took notice. Let’s do it again, but to 3 new Senators who need to lead on this issue:

Collins (ME)  |  Murkowski (AK)  |  Hassan (NH) 

Make a comment like, “My family needs another relief check because _______. Senator, you have the power to make this happen and millions of Americans are counting on you. Please support ongoing direct payments. #MoneyForThePeople” 

What were once referred to as stimulus checks are now being called survival checks. And yet Congress continues to act like one check was enough. But here’s the good news: Every day, we see more members of Congress standing up for direct payments for everyone. We can win this. 

If Congress is going to act, the experts say it has to be this week. Senators from both parties are talking about checks, and while it is unbelievable that it will be left to the last minute, I believe we will be given the help we need if we just keep the pressure on.
