Hi – We’re changing the conversation together. The petition is nearly at half a million signatures and last night we drove hundreds of tweets to the Congressional leadership driving this debate. Today, the media is reporting that the House package might include the very same numbers we asked for: $2000 per adult, and $1000 per child! So we know Congress is listening, and as I type, they are still debating the stimulus package that will determine our future.
The one thing that we know makes the biggest difference is for Senators to hear directly from their constituents because they care the most about the people they represent. Since Congress can’t take calls because of the coronavirus shutdown, the best way to make sure they hear you is sending an email.
Our stories are the story of America right now, and our senators need to hear them. Can you help by emailing your US senator and sharing with them your financial fears and realities now, and in the months ahead?
