Your voices have been heard. I will be writing to Giant Supermarket to provide feedback on the issue of plastic bag provision for consumers. 

Although the initial intention of this petition was to encourage supermarket chain outlets to impose charges on plastic grocery bags at the check-out, I have heard your opinions on this issue and made changes to the intention of this petition.

I believe that the solution to reducing plastic waste is to put a stop to the provision of plastic grocery bags at supermarkets and educate the public on the harmful impacts of plastic.
