Hey everyone! I just wanted to update you all that we've hit over 500+ Signatures for the Giant Statue of Temoc, our mascot, on-campus (587 exactly at the moment of writing this post).
The petition has been gathering a lot of attention, however, we're needing TONS OF MORE SUPPORT to make this happen! I have been speaking with Student Government & Development, along with the Alumni Center, in hope that we can possibly reach out to more students (and even Alumni) for further support.
Department Officials are definitely doing some research on this, and I will be sure to update you all once I know the next steps for this!
What can I do now to help? SHARE! Please share this petition, the graphics, and the website to sign on any social media platforms you may have and to students that you know! The more signatures we have - the better!
