Despite the 2011 Autonagar report that exposed the horrendous treatment of our strays and rampant corruption in GHMC Hyderabad, nothing appears to have changed. GHMC continues to butcher our beloved stray dogs in the name of ABC while putting public health at risk with Illegal practices like dog dumping and by failing to institute proper ABC/AR. Every single animal welfare law in the IPC along with the 1960 PCA is being violated by GHMC. Year after year, the AWBI and local NGOs have failed at their attempts of stopping the cull. 

Please help stop the dog cull immediately. GHMC ABC program must be stopped with immediate effect until absolutely safe and transparent practices can be established. Volunteers must not only be allowed inside dog pounds to oversee ABC/AR but must be made part of the monitoring committee. Effective short and long term strategies must be introduced before resuming ABC.
