The annual commercial seal hunt for the pleasure of the hunters is beyond barbaric and disgraceful.

97% of the seals killed are just over 12 days old they have not even eaten their first meal.Hunters target baby seals because their skins are the most prime and the most profitable. 

It is inhumane! A lot of the time the seals are not completely dead after the beating, and suffer a slow agonizing demise! Conscious pups are impaled on boat hooks and and others choke to death on their own blood!

The seals cannot replenish and the numbers are declining due to hunting!. The seal hunt costs tax payers millions of dollars every year.
