Today marks one year since Teejay’s passing.
A year of grief. A year of strength. A year of unwavering commitment to seeking justice.
We remain deeply grateful to every petitioner, supporter, and well-wisher who has stood with us through this difficult journey.
On 25th February 2026, the matter came up before Chief Magistrate Owumi at the Magistrates’ Court, Tinubu, Lagos Island, for continuation of trial.
O. S. Okuwobi appeared for the Prosecutor from the Department of Public Prosecutions,Lagos State, Omoyemi Olusunmade, Alex Ikumawoyi, and Oluwaseun Akintunde appeared for the Defence, while Princess Omosuyi and Tejiri Omotegbona held a watching brief for the nominal complainant.
At the sitting, the Defence Counsel cross-examined the first Prosecution witness. The case was thereafter adjourned to 2 April 2026 for continuation of trial and further cross-examination of the witness.
As we mark this solemn anniversary, we remain resolute. Justice may take time, but we will continue to follow the process diligently and lawfully.
