Let’s talk about the enclosure punch lives in. After doing a lot of research on what the Japanese Macaques enclosures look like it seems like although punches isn’t the worse it could be there’s still a lot of room for improvement. The thing that bothers me the most is the concrete walls and floors. These are mountain monkeys and they are given water streams and mountain like scriptures but the ground is not acceptable. Although these monkeys are not used to trees in the mountains they still have a good amount of greenery and climbing structures which it doesent seem like punches enclosure has. If anyone is more educated on the correct enclosures for Japanese macaques please let me know but to me it still doesent seem like this enclosure is good enough.
