Get parliament to debate changes to Social Services after Arthur Labinjo-Hughes' murder
The torture and murder of little Arthur Labinjo-Hughes was despicably cruel. The reasons for that cruelty may never be known. It makes me, and probably you feel utterly distraught and helpless.
A harrowing video clip in the news shows Arthur saying:
“nobody loves me” and “no one is going to feed me”.
I want a way to say that “I love you Arthur”, even though it is sadly too late for him to hear or feel.
Not for the first time, an innocent child has died even though multiple people raised concerns to social services and social services had this case in their care.
It is hard to the answer the question of what is needed to stop this happening in the social care system again. I believe this needs to be debated by our elected government in parliament.
It will take 100,000 signatures to get parliament to debate this:
“What changes or resources are needed in the social care system to stop another death like Arthur Labinjo-Hughes.”
Please sign.
