The power of Laughter & Mental Health

I shared in my last update the brilliant breakthrough of Mental Health Education now being rolled out in Wales alongside reforms in England. Since then I’ve been spending some time in Scotland pushing for a victory here next. We’ve already got support from first minister Nicola Sturgeon and I’m hoping to gain support form Ruth Davidson next.

Whilst in Edinburgh I’ve been delighted to see how many performers are tackling mental health stigma in their shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. To further explore the link between comedy and mental health I’ve been lucky enough to interview three comedians from the festival for my podcast.
