TAKE ACTION NOW: Ask Your State Legislators to Approve Supplemental Funding for the Early Intervention (EI) program this January!

The IL EI Grassroots Alliance has been meeting with state legislators to advocate for an additional $15 million in funding for the Early Intervention program in any FY23 supplemental appropriation approved during this year’s January ‘Lame Duck’ session which occurs at the beginning of January, but we need your help! Please take this action to email your state legislators and let them know why additional funding for the Early Intervention (EI) program is needed. This increased funding will allow the Department of Human Services (DHS) to address immediate and future program needs and respond to growing caseloads, increasing service delays, and an impending workforce crisis.
