Do we have the right to sue?

Some of the Visual Concepts developers who worked on WWE 2K20 have quit and are no longer working on the game. Basically they have taken 2K19 (a decent game), wiped their asses with it, released it as 2K20, seen the negative backlash, refused to fix it and then simply quit and walked away. How can this be ok? Surely this gives us customers the right to sue 2K for not only releasing a broken product but also promising to fix the game through patches which is now looking less and less likely.
