I wanted to personally thank everyone who has signed our petition so far and shared Andy's story. This past weekend was our official launch and we never imagined we'd get to almost 500 signatures this fast. From the bottom of our hearts, Thank You

We don't know how many signatures it will take to get Gov. Kemp's attention but we are not going to stop until he agrees to meet with us and discuss change.

As many of you agree; the current penalties for second degree are grossly understated. We don't believe "accidents" merit a 20-year sentence, but we do believe actions should have consequences and taking a person's life should be worth much more than the cost of an iPhone. Second degree is designed for families to sue for monetary damages, but as anyone who has been in this situation knows, there isn't ANY amount of money we wouldn't give to have Andy back with us today. We don't want money. We want change.

Stronger penalties are where we have started, but we also believe we should add another "ask" for the Governor and anyone who will listen. We are thinking a preventative measure would be appropriate and are drafting an add-on for some kind of left-hand turn change at all major intersections in the State of Georgia. As you have joined us in this fight, we'd love to hear your thoughts on that matter too. Send us an email, we'll read all 500 if that is what it takes.
