Gov. reaffirms commitment to AXE tampon tax ASAP

Hello amazing campaigners!!!

Last week, the Government refused to reaffirm their commitment to ending tampon tax. But yesterday they changed their minds. Mel Stride MP, Financial Secretary to the Treasury and Paymaster General, confirmed the government "remains committed to applying a ZERO rate of VAT to women's sanitary products in the UK at the earliest opportunity". BOOM! 

It feels like we've been waiting for tampon tax to technically end for a lifetime, but rest assured we're keeping on the government's toes! We just need to keep this conversation going until the tax is finally legally axed. We're able to do that thanks to all of YOU!

These changes are always slow but we're making more progress than ever before.
