Virginia and Georgia state ended #TamponTax this week!

Hello tampon tax campaigner!

I have some amazing news to kick off your weekend: Virginia and Georgia state both axed tampon tax this week! The tampon-tax-ending bill passed through Virginia’s House of Delegates and Senate with only ONE objection. Hats off to our sisters in Virginia who have been campaigning for FOUR YEARS to see this victory. Similarly, Georgia state axed its 4% tampon tax rate three days ago. In doing so it became the 11th American state to axe tampon tax in the past few years. That’s pretty amazing.
