More BIG BIG news: Ethical Superstore have DROPPED the price of their tampons, sanitary pads and mooncups by 5% to cover the cost of tampon tax so that you don't have to! This is HUGE news. We hope that other stores (and Mr. Osborne) are taking note! It's a bold and fierce strategy. But it doesn't just save us a few quid. It means we no longer have to wholeheartedly buy into a sexist tax system, redirects the focus of Osborne's tax from females to large non-gendered corporations and shelters us from government bullshit. We're not paying the tax, with or without Osborne's support. A representative of the store told me: "We decided to do this because we believe in it... we have cut the price of our sanitary products by 5% to compensate for the tax. I think if you want to actually do something as a business you have to step up and commit to it even if this hurts your profits. Otherwise, you don't stand for anything."
