Hello all 313,448 of you!!!! We have some really exciting news to share with you: health store giant Superdrug has announced that it will soon stand with us in our protest against tampon tax! Yesterday it launched a new policy, and vowed to reimburse your tampon tax money through extra loyalty points which will be awarded each and every time you buy Superdrug's own brand of tampons or sanitary pads. FINALLY a big store has taken steps to actively protest against tampon tax in a way that will benefit those who have to pay the 5% 'luxury' rate. While their new policy won't end tampon tax, and is sadly confined to their own brand of sanitary products, it does show that we have the support of a health store giant and will significantly add to the pressure that we are building up against Osborne, the Exchequer and the European Union.
