Rehman Chishti, MP for Gillingham and Rainham, Chatham and Aylesford MP Tracey Crouch, Kelly Tolhurst, MP for Rochester and Strood, and Maidstone and The Weald MP Helen Grant voted in favour of retaining the five per-cent VAT levy on female sanitary products classed as "non-essential luxury items" by the EU.
