Some of you may know that today George Osborne didn’t see the budget as the right opportunity to urge the European Commission to remove VAT from women’s sanitary products. This oversight only highlights how much this cause needs us to fight! Let George Osborne know that we are unhappy with his women un-friendly budget by tweeting at him now: http://bit.ly/1CpKn9F Of course, the budget is not the only opportunity Osborne has to speak up. Our campaign does not end here - it just gets stronger! If you haven’t already, please also take a moment to write to your MP and ask them to sign EDM 866, calling on Osborne to support the removal of this tax. It is also important to remember that Osborne is not the only one with the power to make this change. Our next step will be targeting the European Commision, particularly as Ed Miliband has shown his support for our campaign.
