The gates are opening! When I started this tongue in cheek satirical petition addressing a serious issue, I had no idea that the outpouring of support would be so huge. I thought there might be a few hundred voices...at best. Boy, was I wrong. America, you still amaze me. We truly are the land of the free, and the home of the brave. Looking forward, just think of the change we can make if we only stand up and speak our mind, together. Thank you Monroe County Officials and Officers. Thank you First Responders. And thank you, each and every one of you who made your voices heard and made a change. God bless you all, and God bless America. Time for us to get to work, we've got a long road ahead of us. This is America with a capital A.
