Los Angeles just followed San Francisco to become the largest city in the United States to ban the sale and manufacture of fur within the city. The unanimous city council vote set a historic precedent for other cities to go fur-free. 

Mamaroneck has already banned sale of puppy mill dogs, establishing our community's standards for not tolerating animal cruelty. The cruelty of the fur industry is well documented. Let's extend our community values by banning the sale of fur in Westchester.
