Thank you everyone so much for showing that you care about the plight of farm animals kept outdoors in all weathers. We've managed a whopping 115,869 signatures, so now for the next stage of the plan. Please could you send an email to Mr Eustice (george.eustice.mp@parliament.uk) asking him to take action on this matter. I have drafted the wording below, but please feel free to adapt or rewrite completely. We need to start putting the pressure on to make Mr Eustice realise that this subject is important and isn't going away!

I have recently signed the Change petition 'Shelter for Farm Animals' raised by Kathy Barley, to request that there is a legal requirement for farmers to provide appropriate and adequate shelter for outdoor farm animals. I would ask that you please respond and act on this petition. I look forward to hearing from you."
