As seniors in Anne Arundel county, we believe that it is important to receive recognition for the accomplishments we have achieved throughout our high school careers. It is not only important to us as students, but to our parents and teachers who have supported us throughout this journey. Programs such as the International Baccalaureate program, STEM, Homeland security, Project Lead the Way and other magnet programs, are offered at these schools for students to have the choice to go above and beyond what is required. Students who chose to enroll themselves in these rigorous programs have earned the privilege to be recognized at graduation. We understand that inclusivity is important, but is not a key aspect of high school.
