Dear Petitioners, Firstly, thank you for your signatures which have already raised attention to this issue amongst representatives of the Yarra City Shire Council. Amanda Stone, a representative of the Langridge Ward, has kindly corrected me as to the proper Ward in which the ad presides, the adjacent Nicholls Ward. I am grateful to her for giving us her time. However, the responsibility for reviewing this advertisement has been hand balled to the Advertising Standards Bureau. I think this is disappointing because this proved a good opportunity for her, or another representative of the Yarra Shire to provide an example of their initiative and concern for the people of their district by taking responsibility for this task. I have been in contact with Ms Stone, in the hope that she may be able to do more than forward our problem onto another, larger bureaucratic system. I will keep you updated. Regards, Veronika
